Chick Hernandez is a noted public speaker, and known broadcaster. Rooted in the Baltimore area, Hernandez' hometown love was only strengthened with his attendance at the University of Maryland.
Career Highlights:
- Hernandez memorably anchored Comcasts' Mid-Atlantic SportsNet's first show in April of 2001.
- Hernandez has anchored Redskins Post Game Live, and Philadelphia's Monday Night Live.
- He was honored in 2002 with the Capital Region Emmy Award for Best Sports Anchor. Prior to that, Hernandez has won several Emmys for his work at Washington's WTTG Fox 5 as the weekend sports anchor.
- He then became an anchor and reporter for Fox SportsNet where he covered events such as the NFC title game, and Super Bowl XXXV.
