Former left wing, Marc Crawford spent six seasons in the NHL flying between the NHL's Vancouver Canucks and their farm team in the AHL, the Fredericton Express. In six years Crawford played in 176 regular season games before hanging up his skates after the 1986-87 season. A few years later, in 1994, Crawford started coaching with a Quebec team which then relocated to Colorado. His coaching career continued with the Canadian Olympic Team, the Vancouver Canucks for seven seasons, and now currently with the Los Angeles Kings.


Career Highlights:
  • In his six seasons with the Vancouver Canucks, Crawford recorded 50 points and 229 penalty minutes.
  • In his first season as a coach Crawford became the youngest coach ever to win the Jack Adams Coach of the Year trophy.
  • In his stay with Quebec, Crawford saw a Stanley Cup Trophy in 1996, and a place in the Western Conference Finals the following year.
  • In the 1998 Olympics, Team Canada's ice hockey team, coached by Crawford, finished fourth.
  • Crawford was hired as head coach of the Vancouver Canucks and over seven seasons compiled 246 wins in 529 games, making it to the playoffs four of the last five seasons.

In 2006 Crawford signed on as head coach of the Los Angeles Kings. His first-hand experience, and his love for the game is never-ending. He is a passionate person that brings his experience to any and every audience!
