Dave Schultz has been public speaking for more than 25 years. Having been a member of two Stanley Cup Championship teams, ACHL League Commissioner, General Manager and Head Coach in both the ECHL and UHL, an entrepreneur, father, and commentator, Dave loves to share his unique perspective on life, sports and team relations. Schultz, accredited for earning the Flyers the nickname “The Broad Street Bullies”, was more than just a fighting force on the ice and has proven to be much more in his post career. Schultz’ speeches have gained him respect and prove to be an inspiration to organizations, public and private.
Career Highlights:
- As a rookie in 1972-73, led the league with 259 penalty minutes
- Played a key role in helping the Flyers win Stanley Cup Championships in 1974 and 1975.
- Played for the Los Angeles Kings, the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Buffalo Sabres before ending his playing career in 1980.
- His NHL totals included 79 goals, 200 points and 2,294 penalty minutes in 535 regular season games
- Coached professional hockey in the United Hockey League and East Coast Hockey League for three seasons before moving back to the Philadelphia area.

Dave Schultz, now the President of the Philadelphia Flyers Alumni Association, keeps active in playing charity hockey games and organizing charity events such as the annual golf classic, dinner and Roast. Schultz is a strong force to be reckoned with and brings his spirit to any playing field. |
