Ken Hitchcock, in addition to being a powerful NHL coach, is a much accredited motivational speaker. His forces of dedication and teamwork are apparent in his highly sought-after lecture and PowerPoint presentation on leadership. His character and sharp dynamic make him a perfect fit for any event.
Career Highlights:
- Served as an assistant coach for Canada's 2002 Men's World Hockey Championship team and won a gold medal as an associate coach with Team Canada at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
- Head coach of the Dallas Stars for parts of seven seasons (1995-96 to 2001-02) and led the team to qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs in each of his five full seasons as head coach.
- Nominated for the Jack Adams Award as "the NHL coach adjudged to have contributed the most to his team's success" three consecutive seasons
- Flyers Head Coach from 2002-06, guiding the team to its best point total since the 1985-86 season.
